Brenna Ginsberg is a Chicago based choreographer and dancer. She creates an atmosphere that dissociates us from reality transporting audiences into a transient occasion of instrumentation engineered through resonance and unravelings of physical relationships with unearthly moving bodies.
Her choreography was presented at D49 Dance festival at Hamlin Park Fieldhouse Theater and she co-directed Triplicate; a performance series that showcased three new choreographers including herself where she debuted a solo Meet. Meat. Me.
Ginsberg graduated in May 2015 with a BFA in Dance from Columbia College Chicago while receiving the Presidential Scholarship. She choreographed works presented on Columbia’s Dance Center stage titled Ages 3 to Adult and Demons and Dandelions. She’s also performed on this stage in works by Onye Ozuzu, Pam McNeil, Adriana Durant, and Kelsa Robinson.
